About

When I first became a follower of Jesus Christ in 2011, I found myself intimidated by those who knew where to find bible verses so quickly. When I couldn't locate the verse someone was referring to in a bible study, I often felt left behind. I was too embarrassed to ask where to look to find what we were studying, so I fumbled.

Prior to my becoming a Christian I was a manager in retail for Staples, Inc. Fifteen years of managing Staples stores with that ever-popular Easy Button™ taught me something monumental - when things are easy to do they get done!

Details tend to get in the way of getting things done, so I love tackling the details. Later as an Executive Assistant my administrative mindset was on efficiency. This later formed my business The Efficient Assistant.

I was attending a church a few years back where the pastor was cross referencing multiple books during his sermon. I was left behind yet again. Since I often think on how to make things easy and more efficient, I realized a need to be able to turn quickly in order to keep up with his preaching. Tabs were a necessity in that church!  Not wanting anyone new to fumble like I did, I offered to put tabs on the pew bibles.

A friend in bible study joked how the first time she met me in our bible study she remembers I was sitting on the floor putting tabs on my bible. Our bible study went on a girls weekend and I brought the church pew bibles with me to tab. We got snowed in the hotel and hung out in the lobby playing games as I was tabbing bibles. I found a new hobby I loved.

I’m excited to put my administrative gifting, love of paper and organizing to use for God’s Kingdom!  I love putting tabs on bibles knowing it makes reading it easier. If it's easier to read - it gets done!

It is my prayer that bible tabbing is a blessing to many and can fund starting the next phase of ministry the Lord has placed on my heart to do.
